Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Director of Pricing & Analytics to join the Canadian Commercial Banking Strategy, Analytics & Pricing team.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution — someone who is passionate about uncovering insights that drive business decisions and has deep experience in banking products and pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insights Generation & Strategic Advisory

    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, delivering strategic insights and recommendations on business decisions

    • Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies

    • Conduct deep-dive analyses on banking products, client behavior, pricing, and performance trends

    • Develop executive-ready presentations and management reports that translate data into strategic recommendations

  • Product Management

    • Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements. Develop compelling business cases and assess return on investment

    • Partner with Tech & Delivery to define and maintain a forward-looking product roadmap

    • Manage product launches by working with sales, technology, and operations to prepare messaging, training, and documentation

  • Technical Excellence

    • Use SQL and Python (or similar programming languages) to extract, analyze, and visualize data

    • Build scalable analytical solutions and automate recurring processes

    • Collaborate with the data foundations team to improve data workflows and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Experience & Domain Knowledge

    • 5–7 years of experience in analytics, preferably within banking or financial services

    • Strong understanding of banking products, client segmentation, and business strategy

  • Communication & Influence

    • Ability to distill complex data into simple, compelling insights

    • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions

  • Mindset

    • Curious, proactive, and impact-driven

    • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement

Salary:

$110 500,00 - $192 500,00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
