Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Partner Sales, West to build high-impact, scalable and sustaining strategic partnerships with leading System Integrators and VARs. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding LivePerson’s ecosystem by fostering and managing relationships with key partners that align with our vision to enhance customer experience through AI-powered solutions.

You will: 

  • Identify and evaluate potential SI and VAR partnerships in the US and Canada that complement LivePerson’s conversational AI offerings. Develop comprehensive partnership strategies that align with LivePerson's business objectives.
  • Work closely with LivePerson West Coast field teams to source, qualify and convert joint opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior executives at partner organizations. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication, alignment of goals, and mutual growth.
  • Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, including terms, pricing, and performance metrics. Ensure all partnerships are structured to deliver maximum value for both LivePerson and its partners.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the success of partnerships. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the impact of partnerships on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and overall business performance.
  • Work alongside our Innovation, Sales and Product teams to develop new innovative technical integrations and joint roadmap initiatives, translating them into highly effective GTM plays.
  • Evangelize the partner opportunity across LivePerson creating a high performing cross-functional organization ensuring the success of partners and joint clients


You have:

  • 12+ years of experience in partners, sales, strategic alliances
  • Strong existing executive relationships with leading SIs, Regional SIs, Strategic Alliances, and VARs
  • Strong experience building, growing and leading new lines of business.
  • Proven success selling to, through, and with partners.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with C-Level executives in large enterprise companies.
  • Strong ability to measure and communicate progress against business objectives, flagging potential obstacles and developing and executing remediation plans.
  • Be adaptable and flexible, able to work and thrive in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Sales and business value outcome orientation with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled at influencing others, internally and externally; ability to develop alignment across complex multi-faceted organizations to deliver outcomes.


Benefits: 

The salary range for this role will be between $160,000 $200,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications. During the phone screening, your recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
