  • Push forward on the state of the art of deep learning to solve extremely challenging real world robotics problems that is already driving at large scale.
  • Manage multiple teams of world class machine learning software engineers
  • Drive the short term and long term technical vision in a space where the long term is an open research problem
  • Develop a strong collaborative relationship with peers spanning across the entire company

You have:

  • Deep learning expertise, including recent innovation in large pre-trained foundational models and architecture performance optimizations
  • PhD in ML, specifically with a deep-learning focus
  • 4+ years of experience managing large teams (50+ people) in complex, fast growth environments
  • Strong track record in designing org structures and growing people
  • Execution mindset and skills in a fast paced environment

We prefer:

  • Experience in ML infrastructure, and how to build a culture with sustainable engineering practices
