Overview:

In this role, you will help to bridge the client's business strategy to the business outcome by providing the clear connection that reporting provides accountability. You will work with the client to develop an analytics strategy to match their business needs, taking into consideration their unique data assets and tools and the long-term efficacy of the solution. You will guide data engineers and data analysts to execute on the data strategies you developed with the client, but you wouldn't be afraid to get into the weeds and run some queries or build dashboards when in a pinch.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal sales, external sales, channel partners and Decision Foundry leadership in leading pre-sales conversations and solutions
  • Help clients to identify key metrics to support business goals, and how to gather the data supporting those metrics
  • Gather requirements from client regarding the technical and analytical aspects of their data needs
  • Have deep technical skills to be able to explain tool capabilities and dig into the specific functions of tools, as well as its interoperability across technical, martech and adtech systems
  • Provide requirements for visualizations to data analysts for them build reports and dashboards that best present the key metrics
  • Based on experiences in developing strategies, develop best practices and processes for metrics, data management, and/or data visualization where possible
  • Be able to manage direct and indirect reports as needed, working in a matrixed global organization

    Percentage of work:
  • 25% - Direct client interaction, gathering requirements, communicating progress, and providing deliverables
  • 25% - Data strategy development - spend time identifying appropriate metrics, data architecture and data sources to attain the business objectives
  • 25% - Direct Decision Foundry pre-sales engagements to steer opportunities for reporting & insights projects leveraging Salesforce reporting tools such as Marketing Intelligence, CRM Analytics and Tableau, along with data engineering platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud, AWS and Azure, and ETL tools like Mulesoft and Fivetran.
  • 15% - Provide thought leadership to be used to create additional conversation around reporting best practices
  • 10% - Identify growth opportunities for personal and professional development
Requirements

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of seven years of business experience in analytics, revenue operations, consulting and/or enterprise software experience is required, including demonstrated ability of stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Eligible to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Data Engineering & Business Intelligence ecosystem
  • Several Salesforce certifications
Benefits

- Work Setup- Hybrid

- For Canada based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. plus Discretionary Bonus.

In addition, Decision Foundry offers additional benefits including subsidized medical, dental, 401k plus match, insurance and
additional benefit options.
