The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director, Client Experience & Lifecycle Marketing to own and evolve the end-to-end advisor experience across PICTON Investments’ digital and marketing channels. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining the CX vision, translating it into a clear and actionable roadmap, and ensuring our marketing programs and journeys deliver consistent, relevant, and measurable value at every stage of the advisor lifecycle.


Reporting to the VP, Digital & Client Experience, this role will play a central part in shaping how advisors engage with the Picton brand — from first interaction through onboarding, portfolio adoption, and long-term advocacy. The Director will bring together strategy, journey design, data, and executional alignment, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, Technology, and Compliance to ensure experiences are intentional, integrated, and scalable.


A key focus of this role is balancing holistic CX planning with journey activation. You will lead the development of a unified CX roadmap while also defining and operationalizing priority journeys — for example, what an ideal onboarding experience looks like, which content and tools support it, and how feedback and performance data inform continuous improvement.


You will also champion the use of data, AI, and automation to improve personalization, efficiency, and relevance across channels, while establishing playbooks, standards, and reporting frameworks that enable the broader marketing team to execute with clarity and confidence.


What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a senior CX and digital marketing leader who combines strategic vision with strong executional instincts, and who can confidently partner across teams to drive meaningful, measurable change.


The expected base salary for this role is $100,000–$120,000, with the final number depending on your experience, skills, education, and team budget. On top of that, you’ll be eligible for our discretionary bonus program.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 6–10+ years of experience in digital marketing, customer experience, or lifecycle marketing, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end journeys across web, email, content, and related platforms
  • Proven experience developing and leading CX or lifecycle strategies, including journey mapping, prioritization, and roadmap development tied to business objectives
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, or asset management, with a strong understanding of the financial advisor mindset, workflows, and decision-making context
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience partnering closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Product, Technology, Operations, and Compliance
  • Deep understanding of data-driven marketing, including defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using insights to optimize journeys, engagement, and ROI
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology ecosystems (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms, CMS, analytics tools); Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud are strong assets
  • Experience establishing CX standards, playbooks, and governance models that enable consistent execution across teams and channels
  • A forward-looking mindset, with comfort leveraging AI, automation, and personalization to improve relevance, scalability, and efficiency
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategy, influence stakeholders, and align teams around shared priorities
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
