Based out of your home office and reporting to the Senior Director, Associate Recruitment, you will partner with your portfolio of dental practices in the Maritimes Region to manage their Associate recruitment needs. Talent is key to Dentalcorp’s success, and the Talent team is an invaluable resource to our Partners. You will hold an important seat at the table, contributing to critical business decisions.

In this role, you will

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract top dental associates across Canada
  • Build strong relationships with candidates through proactive outreach and effective communication
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit with the company culture
  • Manage the hiring process from start to finish, including drafting job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and negotiating job offers
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future recruitment needs
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, competitive intelligence and regulatory requirements related to dental practice recruitment
  • Facilitate events and seminars to expand your network of contacts and potential candidates
  • Build partnerships with associations, university/colleges and other industry groups

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in either Business development or Recruitment experience
  • Dental sales experience is a plus
  • Experience in organizing and executing events and seminars
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and colleagues at all levels
  • You are motivated by challenging searches, delivering top talent to the business, and providing unparalleled service
  • You are resourceful and challenge the status quo; you come up with novel solutions to complex Talent needs
  • You are adaptable, resilient and can deal with ever-changing requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Travel 15%
