We are seeking a Director, Administrative Support and Transactions to lead transactional operations within the current operational environment, while ensuring a rigorous, structured, and secure coexistence with modernized solutions.
This role is critical to operational stability, business continuity, and the quality of the client experience in a context of ongoing transformation and modernization. Strongly focused on automation, efficiency, and process control, this position is a key pillar of sustainable performance and is directly aligned with the vision and strategic orientations of the Senior Management, Individual Insurance Administration.

What you will accomplish with us
As Director, Administrative Support and Transactions, you will be at the heart of our mission.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Lead, engage, and develop a management team responsible for the administration of individual insurance contracts nationwide, ensuring the performance, quality, and stability of transactional operations
Oversee day-to-day operations while consistently ensuring compliance with service, quality, and productivity standards
Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and service standards aligned with business strategy and organizational directions
Ensure that existing processes deliver a high-quality experience that meets the expectations of agencies, advisors, and individual insurance clients
Plan, organize, and manage departmental activities to achieve operational and strategic objectives
Define, monitor, and analyze performance and management indicators to assess operational effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure consistent quality levels
Support competency development and employee engagement with a long-term sustainability mindset (training, coaching, career development, and succession planning)
Operate in a transforming work environment marked by the implementation of new platforms and systems, and actively contribute to operational reflections, adjustments, and transition activities
Work closely with transformation and modernization project teams to ensure a smooth coexistence between existing operations and new solutions, while minimizing impacts on operations and the client experience
Communicate proactively and continuously with other divisional leaders and corporate services to foster alignment and collaboration
Support and advise managers and teams in resolving complex situations, going beyond problem-solving to create added value and identify sustainable improvement opportunities
Establish and maintain constructive, collaborative, and trust-based working relationships with all stakeholders

What will help accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, actuarial science, or a related discipline
Has ten (10) years of relevant experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a management role
Has experience managing high-volume transactional operations (an asset)
Has knowledge of individual insurance products (an asset)
Demonstrates strong proficiency with Windows-based office tools
Is fluent in French as the role requires daily communication, understanding of business issues, and presentations with unilingual french-speaking partners
