We’re looking for a Digital Paid Video Editor to craft high-performing, conversion-driven video assets for Knix’s paid media channels. As a key member of the Performance Creative team, the Digital Paid Video Editor will ideate, shoot, edit, and optimize videos for various platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, TV streaming and emerging channels. This is a major opportunity to shape the creative that fuels our growth and drives customer acquisition.

- You are up to date on social and paid media trends, platform best practices, and emerging formats.
The Opportunity:
- Work with the ACD, Social, and Paid Media teams to create short-form videos that support campaign launches, product moments, and ongoing paid media needs across TikTok, Meta and YouTube.
- Capture and edit raw footage into clear, engaging assets using UGC-style techniques, text overlays, voiceovers, motion elements, and other platform-native approaches.
- Contribute simple hooks, captions, or script ideas as needed, with support from Marketing and Copy.
- Take part in brainstorms and share ideas inspired by platform trends and performance insights.
- Adapt, revise and produce new versions quickly to support testing and fast-moving market needs.
- Use performance insights from the Marketing team to help guide future creative decisions.
- Create storyboards or visual references to align teams before production.
- Experiment with generative AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and expand creative outputs.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in short-form video editing (digital ads, social media, or performance-driven creative).
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates filmmaking techniques and relevant experience in short-form, performance-driven, or social-first content.
- Proficiency for editing TikTok, Meta ads, YouTube or similar channels using Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut, and After Effects.
- Ability to integrate VFX workflows, including tracking, compositing, and colour correction.
- Demonstrated experience operating Sony and Canon DSLR camera systems with a solid understanding of basic lighting setups and techniques.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Post-secondary education in Film, Video Production, Digital Media, Motion Graphics, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience with advanced motion graphics, Frame, Davinci, CD/CGI and AI editing tools considered an asset.
