Job Description

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Solutions, you’ll be collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business problems, and design digital solutions. Key tasks include managing project delivery, optimizing systems for efficiency, providing cost-benefit analysis, and consulting on digital tools. The role also ensures effective website performance through analytics and supports business intelligence needs.

The core parts of your role will be to: 

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit requirements and effectively plan for, manage and communicate requirements.
  • Analyzing complex business problems and working to assess how Digital solutions can be designed and implemented.
  • Developing and documenting Digital project requirements, including workflow, user interface and quality assurance.
  • Working with the Digital Team to coordinate the delivery or Digital solutions utilizing project management best practices.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing website content & code and organize information architecture in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Leading and coordinating interdepartmental teams to create and optimize digital solutions that focusing on improving member experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Determining Digital solution feasibility by performing necessary investigation, analysis and evaluation.
  • Helping develop Digital solution cost and benefit estimates to establish project ROI. This includes developing alternative considerations and recommendations for new solutions or changes to existing ones.
  • Providing consulting services to departments and users to enhance the use of existing Digital systems and processes.
  • Ensuring that reporting systems provide appropriate business intelligence by analyzing reporting requirements and providing recommendations.
  • Ensuring OGC websites, intranet and digital channels performance are as efficient and effective as possible through web analytics measurement, analyzation and reporting.
  • Conducting research and providing advice to other team members regarding the selection, application and implementation of digital business systems.

Qualifications

Let’s Talk About You: 

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:

  • Five years’ experience in process design and digital technology business solutions.
  • High level of organizational ability with project management experience being an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to use innovative and effective methods to analyze data and produce business solutions that meet process requirements. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Experience working on multiple systems projects in parallel.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience in the usage and administration of SharePoint.
  • Business intelligence experience is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile UX design, prototyping and testing tools
  • A university degree, college diploma or certification in a related field with strong knowledge of best practices employed in Digital solutions.
