What is a day in a life of a Digital Media Manager at theturnlab?

 

You and your team will interact with your Account, Interactive, Creative and Media colleagues to develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business and consumer needs.  Through your leadership skills and solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, you will spend your day coaching, mentoring and guiding your team in the creation and execution of complex digital media strategy.  

In summary, you will:

  • assist the co-founder, media on bigger picture projects
  • lead, develop and execute complex digital media strategy
  • manage day-to-day client and vendor interaction and deliverables
  • manage, train and support other team members
  • develop media briefs and vendor request for proposals
  • formulate media POVs
  • maintain media budgets, manage invoices and billing
  • lead digital reporting and in-depth analysis
  • work closely with Account, Interactive and Creative Divisions
  • take an active role in new business development 



What value will you bring to our team?

 

You will have a post-secondary education coupled with a minimum of five years of digital media experience – agency and experience within the home builders, automotive and CPG categories are an asset.  You will also have demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to manage and coach a team day-to-day.

Furthermore, you will have:

  • a university and/or college degree
  • minimum of 5 years of digital media experience
  • agency experience a significant asset
  • major client categories (particularly automotive, home building and CPG experience an asset)
  • experience in managing and mentoring teams
  • extensive digital media experience (particularly with SEM, Social, Programmatic, Video and AI Applications)
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • collaborative and team oriented
  • creative and out of the box thinker
  • digital media software experience
  • experience in working with third party ad-servers
  • experience with social media platforms (both paid and organic)
