JOB DESCRIPTION

TEAM:  Media

REPORTS TO:  Digital Media Manager


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Digital Media Associate is responsible for assisting the Digital Media Manager with the day-to-day operations of planning, implementing and monitoring of our clients’ digital and social media campaigns.  In collaboration with the Digital Media Team, support the team’s commitment to meeting tight deadlines by assisting in setting up, scheduling and/or posting paid and organic content across digital platforms. 

RESPONSIBILITIES·      

  Digital Media Strategy Support

  • Assist in setting up, scheduling and posting paid/organic content to Google Platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, etc. (in addition to other relevant Media Platforms).
  • Assist with media point of views (POVs).
  • Assist with digital and social media trafficking, budget pacing, and daily optimizations.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards, screenshots, and performance summaries.
  • Help build media plans, flowcharts, and client-facing documents.
  • Assist in paid media buying.
  • Assist with maintaining of campaign budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, external media vendors and agencies.
  • Contribute to testing ideas and learnings to improve future campaigns.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate daily with internal departments (Creative, Accounts and Project Managers) to ensure media requests are fulfilled.
  • Cultivate an environment of positivity, results oriented and client focused by communicating with others in an open and respectful manner.

Operational Excellence

  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends related to the Agency.
  • Follow all agency policy and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-Secondary degree, preferably in advertising, marketing, digital or related field.
  • Strong aptitude with digital media (online, mobile and video) and social media platforms
  • Strong computer software skills particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience digital media software experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of third-party ad-servers and social media platforms (both paid and organic) an asset.

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year of digital media execution experience, working across Google, Meta and other paid channels.
  • Detailed oriented, self-motivated and results driven.
  • An organizer with strong time management skills who can meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborator, team oriented and open minded.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Thrives in fast paced environment
  • Passionate about Advertising and digital media
