About your team: 

You’ll be working centrally within our mission control room, aka Centrica’s group functions. From Finance and Data Science, to our Wellbeing and People teams - this is the engine of our energy system, where our various Centres of Excellence power up each of our brilliant businesses, ensuring they have all the support, technologies, and capabilities they need to get our customers to Net Zero by 2050.

We have a great opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing marketing analytics and optimising digital and CRM strategies. The incumbent will analyse sales and marketing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for enhancing future initiatives. Additionally, they will offer continuous support in maintaining the Salesforce platform, website, and paid media campaigns. The position requires a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and CRM systems to drive customer engagement, and improve lead generation and sales conversion for Centrica Business Solutions across Europe.

The Role:

  • Work with both the Website and Salesforce developers to get tickets completed.
  • Monitor and support SEO and PPC campaign performance, optimising as required to drive traffic and generate leads.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for enhanced visibility and ranking.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices in PPC and SEO to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor competitors' digital marketing activities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Regularly review digital marketing performance against KPI’s, then bring those insights to life for the field marketing teams.  Automating where possible.
  • Perform “deep dives” for any identified areas of concern, interest, or opportunity, proactively proposing solutions and provide recommendations on how performance and strategy could be improved.
  • Respond to requests from sales, marketing and leadership for new Salesforce reports to help visualise key performance indicators, and troubleshoot issues as required.
  • Support the CRM Lead on the operation and maintenance of our Salesforce instance, ensuring the platform meets business needs; data privacy and compliance requirements are met; and supporting with the deployment of new functionality as required.

The Person requirements:

  • Experience of working in a large matrix organisation or Digital Marketing agency experience on large client accounts

  • Proven successes in SEO and PPC

  • Vast experience in digital marketing and CRM management, with a focus on Salesforce, GA4, paid media and SEO
  • Experience Salesforce Sales Cloud essential – specifically around developing new reports and dashboards, including Analytics
  • Experience of Pardot preferred
  • B2B industry experience preferred
