The Opportunity:
We’re looking to fill an opening for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Technical Solution Partners (TSP) team.
Reporting to the DevSecOps Manager, the DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in strengthening the standardization, stability, and predictability of TSP’s release cycles. This role operates as a bridge between Development, Security, and Technology Operations, ensuring smooth delivery throughout the software development lifecycle while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting Azure DevOps administration, and driving ongoing alignment and enablement across our partners. Working with moderate autonomy, this role collaborates closely with both Associate and Senior Engineers—contributing technical expertise, supporting BAU activities, and helping advance best practices across the organization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. The DevSecOps Engineer will regularly participate in the creation and delivery of technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations for internal reviews, training sessions, and leadership briefings. The ability to distill and articulate complex DevSecOps concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner is vital for fostering alignment across diverse technical and non‑technical audiences.
Who you are:
- Service – You put your clients’ needs first. You advocate service excellence, and work to deliver client-centric solutions, and proactively develop strategic partnerships that allow Aviso Wealth to become a trusted advisor and partner
- Execution – You are committed to achieving your goals and to succeed. This includes focusing on “getting things done”, as well as recognizing and taking advantage of opportunities as they arise. You are consistently looking for ways to improve your personal best and see value in continuous improvement. You take accountability for your actions and learn from mistakes
- Collaboration – You work collaboratively with others with the common goal of driving positive results. Making meaningful contributions to your team to achieve organizational goals is a priority. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization
What your day looks like:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on reliability, security, and efficiency across environments
- Enhance build, deployment, and configuration‑management processes through automation, workflow optimization, and security improvements, contributing to ongoing delivery‑process standardization
- Collaborate closely with Development, Security, and Technology Operations teams to ensure cohesive and secure software delivery practices
- Support the administration and optimization of DevSecOps tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, version control, artifact management)
- Contribute to researching, evaluating, and recommending new DevSecOps tools, patterns, and practices; participate in proofs of concept when required
- Provide guidance to Associate Engineers and collaborate with Senior Engineers on complex or large-scale improvements
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, diagrams, and internal presentations to support knowledge sharing and team enablement
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps or DevOps, cloud infrastructure operations, or software engineering, with experiences in collaborative, cross‑functional environments
- In depth knowledge in Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts), including designing scalable CI/CD architectures, enforcing governance standards, and driving infrastructure-as-code practices using Bicep or equivalent technologies
- Proficiency with modern DevSecOps tooling, including Git, Docker, YAML, Bicep, PowerShell/Bash, and cloud-native monitoring/observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics
- Relevant certifications are strongly preferred, such as Microsoft Certified: DevSecOps Engineer Professional, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent cloud/DevSecOps credentials
- Proficient in programming and automation, using well-known languages / frameworks such as PowerShell / Bash / Python / REST / Bicep, and cloud resource orchestration within CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Java or .NET is an asset
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, security, and application delivery issues independently while guiding others through best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to support and coach internal teams unfamiliar with DevOps technologies and practices
- Background in security-focused Financial Services environments is an asset, with familiarity in regulatory and compliance-driven delivery
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
