The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and optimizing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, with a strong focus on GitHub Actions workflows, JFrog Artifactory, and SonarQube. This role will be critical in enabling efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery processes.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate code builds, testing, and deployments across multiple environments.
- Manage and administer JFrog Artifactory repositories, ensuring efficient storage, versioning, and retrieval of binaries and artefacts.
- Integrate and configure SonarQube for continuous code quality analysis, enforcing coding standards, and remediating vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline code integration and delivery processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and security.
- Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and operational procedures for the team.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, trends, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on expertise with JFrog Artifactory for artefact management.
- Experience configuring and using SonarQube for code quality and security analysis.
- Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git), branching strategies, and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Understanding of security best practices in CI/CD environments.
- Previous experience in an Agile or DevOps-driven organization.
