About the role:
The Designer will create digital and print materials, oversee print production, collaborate with copywriters and marketers, support brand evolution, manage direct mail programs, provide creative feedback, source promotional items, and handle print vendor relationships, with 25% of the role dedicated to operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design digital and print materials for multiple brands, including display ads, social media content, promotions, events and in-branch print collateral.
- Oversee print production from concept through delivery, ensuring accuracy in file setup, colour management, and vendor specifications.
- Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to develop creative concepts and ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
- Support ongoing brand evolution and ensure adherence to brand guidelines for each line of business.
- Prepare and optimize design files for web, print, and vendor production.
- Maintain and develop new creative packages to support the Direct Mail program
- Support routine Direct Mail print production tasks
- Provide creative feedback for user generated content (UGC)
- Source and order swag items for corporate events and branch promotions
- Create distribution lists for branch shipments to support promotions, merchandising material and corporate initiatives.
- Manage relationships with print vendors (quote requests, printing/kitting/shipping timelines, file transfer, invoice processing)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute fresh ideas that align with business goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support campaign execution and new product launches.
- Assist in sourcing photography, iconography, and other design assets as needed.
- 25% of this role will consist of operational tasks
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3 years of professional design experience, ideally in marketing, advertising, or financial services.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects or Premiere Pro a plus).
- Solid understanding of print production processes—including prepress setup, file formatting, colour profiles, and vendor coordination.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Experience in print production
- Strong knowledge or experience working in excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage feedback constructively and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of motion graphics or basic video editing considered an asset.
- French language skills an asset
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance personalization, and optimize design performance, while staying current with emerging technologies to continuously improve design strategy and integrate innovation into daily work.

What you can expect - pay & process:
- Expected base salary range is $55 000.00 - $80 000.00, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
