Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Design Systems & CAD Specialist to join the Power Bus Way Team.  This position reports to Mississauga, ON


Responsibilities

What Will You Do? 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain cross-section libraries and reusable CAD components

 • Create and manage templates and standardized model structures 

• Support automation initiatives including CPQ integration 

• Set up project baseline models using latest released standards

 • Ensure CAD data is structured, controlled, and aligned with standards 

• Collaborate with engineering teams on evolving design standards 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Education:

 • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent 

Experience:

• 3–5 years experience in CAD design or drafting or 1+ year cable bus specific design work 

• Advanced CAD proficiency (Inventor preferred)

 • Strong understanding of modeling best practices

 • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

 • Strong organizational and documentation skills

 • Ability to manage multiple priorities
