Design Engineer will produce 3D models and assembly drawings, support procurement and product management, ensure standards compliance, and develop solutions to engineering problems.

Responsibilities:
- Utilizes CAE tools such as SolidWorks, to produce engineering information such as 3D models and assembly drawings.
- Provide technical information which supports activities such as procurement, customer assistance and product support.
- Ensure industry standards are maintained by keeping up to date on current regulations, practices, technology, and methodology.
- Actively contribute and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the development of innovative products and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations and specifications.
- Track and monitor process trials.
- Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to products and systems, or the cause of component failures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, not required.
- 3+ years’ experience gained in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience using CAD and SolidWorks essential.
- Excellent IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications is essential, experience using SAP desirable.
- Experience with 3D Modeling & Engineering Analysis Software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks, CAESAR II).
- Engineering Codes and Standards (i.e. ASME B31.1, ASME BPVC).
- Experience generating bills of materials, routings, assembly instructions and manuals.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to initiate action to develop better ways of working, improving processes and practices.
- Must be customer focused, placing customer satisfaction high on list of priorities and having sound appreciation of current and future requirements of internal and external customers.
