Company Description

Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for supporting the creation and maintenance of the demand plan for Red Bull Finished Goods cans and Point of Sale (POS) Promotional Materials at multiple levels, using statistical models and utilizing insights from Sales, Marketing and Finance. This role will support supply planning activities to procure optimal inventory from Red Bull’s factories, and to ensure timely execution of new product launches in the Canadian market. The Demand & Supply planner also ensures an alignment with the financial plans and works closely with peers to develop, implement, and share best practices in alignment with HQ.

Job Description

DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNING

Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts in line with business plan costs, service objectives while minimizing forecast variability.

Review inventory levels across warehouse locations to ensure balanced network; Enter local stock transfers, as required to meet company objectives.

Maintain supply planning processes using alignment from cross-functional leaders to improve procurement strategies; study trends, seasonality & historical performance, new items and category changes as well as events and causal factors.

Develop specific forecast model for temporary SKUs, including phase in and phase out.

Manage creation and maintenance of material master in SAP MDG-M and ERP.

Ensure alignment of demand forecasts with sales estimates & provide reconciliation and analysis of variances.

Use current demand planning systems to create the best statistical forecast possible using established processes.

Conduct root cause analysis to understand demand plan error in prior periods and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

POINT OF SALE MERCHANDISE PLANNING

Support with reporting and actionable insights through data analysis including primary recommendations and alternative options that will drive efficiencies within the POS Supply Chain.

Track monthly delivery of POS items to our distribution partners.

Manage creation of POS SKUs in SAP MDG-M and ERP, including purchase info records and standard price maintenance.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Foster collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.

Work closely with the Sales organization to maintain required knowledge of customer practices, needs and strategies as they relate to forecasting and customer ordering processes.

Work in a fast-paced environment using multiple systems

Development of ad hoc reports and ability to integrate data from a variety of sources.

Achieve business plan cost and service objectives for the POS planning department within Operations.

Drive continuous supply chain improvement in cooperation with Red Bull GmbH operations team.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in an analytical or project management role, preferably with a multinational or global company.

Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills. Ability to convert analysis into insights.

Proven conflict resolution and influencing skills.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform in a command-and-control role under pressure and to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.

Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment.

Prior knowledge and experience in SAP ERP, APO DP and IBP preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field.

Fluent in English.
