Job Description- In-depth understanding with Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence concepts from QA perspective
- Create and maintain complex SQL queries such as type 2 triggers, all types of joins, aggregations, groupings etc...
- Executing the ETL Datastage jobs using UNIX shell scripts
Hands-on experience with:
- EDW source to target testing (SQL scripting)
- Data transformation/ manipulation testing (SQL scripting)
- Data quality/ completeness validation (SQL scripting)
- Working knowledge and testing experience of ETL
- Experience in running the scheduler (Mainframe ESP)
- Cognos QA Experience – Reports, Dashboards ,Cubes and Packages
-Data mapping validation
-Data reasonability testing
- Experience with HPQC (Test Management Tool)
- Experience with creation of Test Plan/ completion documents
- Automation experience with SHELL/ PERL scripting is beneficial
