The JPMorgan Chase SMB Payments Analytics team aims to foster a data-driven culture and enable fact-based decision-making. Business Analytics supports this vision by providing data and promoting the adoption of analytics insights. We seek a Data Anak to enhance our analytics capabilities.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will identify key metrics and conduct in-depth analyses to guide business strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Risk, to upsell and cross-sell products and improve partner and merchant experiences.
The ideal candidate will frame business issues, design appropriate analyses, and be fluent in SQL, Python, and other big data techniques. You should be adept at developing insights and building narratives to support key initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various functions to develop insights and analytic solutions for clients.
- Conduct in-depth analyses and build statistical models to identify trends and key drivers for product, sales, risk, and operations decisions.
- Create data visualizations using existing tools or developing new ones, and enhance business dashboards.
- Implement processes and build tools to improve data access, extraction, and analysis efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams to proactively identify and address business needs using analytics.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis, ideally in the online payments industry.
- B.S. or M.S. in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science, from a top school.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with statistical software or programming languages like R or Python.
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, or other data visualization and BI tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguously defined problems, develop creative solutions, and meet aggressive timelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- A team player who works well with teams across the company to achieve common goals.
