As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be providing data quality services to the business to reduce data risk by ensuring member data and critical business data is of quality necessary to run the business, service members and meet regulatory requirements. This is a permanent role.

What will you be doing?

  • Implementing and maintaining data quality monitoring capabilities — transforming base-layer data sources into measurable data quality metrics and maintaining dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to surface issues and performance over time.
  • Partnering with business data owners and stewards to define target data quality thresholds for critical data, provide advisory support, and promote data quality maturity across business operations.
  • Identifying, analysing and reporting data quality issues by tracing errors to root causes, communicating findings through clear visualisations and storytelling, and reporting results to governance forums and working groups.
  • Supporting the development and execution of data quality controls, including preventative, detective and corrective mechanisms to ensure critical data remains accurate, complete, consistent, and fit-for-purpose.
  • Coordinating data correction activities — prioritising remediation with data owners and technical teams, documenting requirements, tracking progress, and monitoring resolution outcomes.
  • Maintaining metadata, lineage and catalogue information to ensure business integration, change alignment, and ongoing transparency of how data is used, transformed, and governed.
  • Conducting hands-on data analysis to reconcile and interrogate data assets, identify patterns and anomalies, and support regulatory, business or governance requirements emerging over time.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Commercial experience working in data governance or data analytics field is desirable.
  • Good level of cognitive capability, data and computer literacy and learning agility.
  • Curiosity and ability to problem solve.
  • Experience using PowerBI is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with technical stakeholders and work with data stewards and the data stewards working group.
  • Tertiary qualification in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or in a Business/Commerce/Marketing discipline.

What can we offer you?

  • Work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a team driving digital transformation across RACWA.
  • Join a team that values personal development and enables continuous learning opportunities, certifications, and career progression within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
  • Benefit from flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including temporary remote work options and a focus on work-life balance.
  • Contribute to high-impact projects or products that directly enhance RACWA's services to its members and the community.
  • Be part of an organisation that embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming environment for all employees.
  • Take advantage of a strong focus on employee wellbeing, including mental health support, wellness programs, and fitness incentives.
  • Engage in meaningful community and social responsibility initiatives that align with RACWA's values and mission.
