Sitting on our Tech Program Management team, within our PMO function, the Program Manager will work closely with our Predictive Analytics and Product Analytics teams to ensure that analytics resources are allocated appropriately and to oversee the delivery of major analytics projects. As our business needs evolve, the program managers in our PMO have the opportunity to shift to support other teams and projects. This is a full time position that has the option of being fully remote or hybrid in our NYC office.
What you’ll be doing:
Process Improvement & Standardization
- Develop and implement scalable processes for intake, scoping, and prioritization of new data requests, ensuring requests are assigned quickly and effectively.
- Define and refine clear acceptance criteria for new projects to improve handoffs between business teams and data teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation on processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure clarity and repeatability.
Program Management
- Lead the on-time delivery of data projects by implementing structured project management methodologies.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration efforts for large, strategic data projects requiring coordination across multiple teams.
- Track and report on project status, risks, and blockers, proactively addressing issues to minimize late deliveries.
Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between data teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and alignment.
- Improve stakeholder visibility into data projects through the creation of reports and regular communication channels.
What success looks like in this role:
- Reduce the time it takes for new data requests to be assigned an owner with clear acceptance criteria.
- Decrease the percentage of data projects delivered past their requested due date.
- Increase consistency in delivery processes across data teams, ensuring predictability and improved stakeholder experience.
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of program management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders
- Experience working with data teams - you won’t perform technical work, but you need to be familiar with work involving SQL, and ideally tools like Snowflake, dbt, Looker, etc
- Experience translating business requests into technical requirements that a data team can execute on
- Ability to keep stakeholders across different teams and functions aligned on tasks to be completed for and the status of long running data projects
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Proven self-management, time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
The target base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,250 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
