The Role
We’re looking for a fast-moving, hands-on Data Engineer to join our global delivery team on one of our key clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership of problems, and delivers high-quality solutions that drive real business value. You’ll be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, developing automated dashboards, and enabling data-driven decisions across complex client environments. You won’t be handed a playbook — you’ll help shape the way we deliver data engineering for some of the world’s most innovative organizations. What You’ll Do
● Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL
● Work with structured datasets in Databricks or similar platforms
● Build and maintain automated dashboards using Superset, Dash, or Plotly
● Optimize SQL queries for performance and reliability
● Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalablesolutions
● Proactively identify and resolve inefficiencies in existing data workflows
● Balance speed and quality, iterating quickly based on feedback
We’re Looking for Someone Who
● Has strong proficiency in Python and SQL — this is non-negotiable
● Can independently build and maintain production-grade data pipelines
● Has experience working with large-scale datasets in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
● Is familiar with Databricks, Pandas, and ideally PySpark
● Is confident building dashboards and data reporting tools from scratch
● Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
● Can juggle multiple requests, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure
● Works well on a team but doesn’t need constant direction to make progress
Nice to Have
● Experience in a high-growth startup, data consultancy, or product-led company
● Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
● Familiarity with batch processing; no real-time data experience required
