About the Data Engineering team

The Data Engineering team collects, organizes, and secures data from our software architecture, making it available to drive health insights for clients and partners, efficiency for care operations, and strategic decision-making for our product development and leadership teams. Your role as a Senior Data Engineer / Developer
We are seeking a product-oriented Data Engineer / Developer to help us deliver more value with our growing data assets. In particular, we’re interested in candidates with experience working on structured data mart modelling in a cloud-based data warehouse.


In this role, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, other data developers, product managers and software developers to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data products. You will work within an agile framework, emphasizing rapid iteration and deployment while maintaining high standards of code quality and data integrity. Day to day, you will:

  • Develop and maintain our data warehouse modelling, optimizing it for utility, extensibility, and performance using dbt and Snowflake
  • Design and implement secure end-to-end data pipelines synchronizing data from multiple data sources using Python and Airflow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver products that drive business value
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to ensure high-quality, maintainable data products

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • At least 2 years of meaningful experience in an data or engineering role, with a strong interest in all things data
  • Hands-on experience conforming and modelling enterprise data in a data warehouse
  • Product-oriented thinking with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into data products
  • Interest in team collaboration and knowledge sharing. You enjoy contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts and ideas to your colleagues
