Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 100 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. Our business value and leadership have been recognized by various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner.

We are seeking a Senior Knowledge Graph Analyst to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of an enterprise Knowledge Graph for a major client. Bringing a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in data governance and graph implementations, you will bridge technical graph development with strategic data governance frameworks. You will model complex data ecosystems across ontology, taxonomy, end-to-end lineage, data sources, critical data elements (CDEs), and quality metrics. Located in Toronto, you will act as a primary partner to business leadership, translating business needs into performant Neo4j graph structures.

Responsibilities

  • Graph Architecture Development: Lead end-to-end design and deployment of enterprise knowledge graphs using Neo4j and Cypher.
  • Governance Framework Integration: Embed deep data governance principles into graph structures—mapping ontologies, taxonomies, data lineage, source systems, CDEs, and data quality metrics.
  • Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as the primary SME in the Toronto office, interfacing directly with business leaders, data stewards, and tech teams to drive adoption and define data definitions.
  • Hybrid Data Management: Oversee graph and metadata governance integrations across both legacy on-premise and modern cloud infrastructures.
  • Query & Schema Optimization: Write, test, and tune complex Cypher queries and schema designs to ensure high performance at enterprise scale.

Requirements
  • Seniority Experience: 6+ years of dedicated, practical experience implementing enterprise Data Governance frameworks and building production Knowledge Graphs.
  • Core Tech Stack: Proven track record building and deploying production graphs using Neo4j and advanced Cypher query language.
  • Location & Presence: Must be based in Toronto (or in Canada with full commitment to work on-site in Toronto full-time for the first 3 months minimum).
  • Communication: Good communication and presentation skills, with a track record of driving consensus among non-technical business executives.
  • Environment Expertise: Demonstrated background governing data across combined on-premise and cloud architectures.

Good to have:

  • Domain Background: Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services (highly preferred).
  • Additional Graph Methods: Hands-on experience with Python (NetworkX), RDF/SPARQL, or SQL Graph databases is a plus.

Benefits

Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, fast-growing, challenging and entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of individual responsibility.
