Bristow Group is looking to hire an ambitious critical thinker with effective communication skills who is excited to participate in the development and execution of sales operations strategies. The Sales Operations and Market Analyst is a trusted advisor to the global Commercial team, providing insightful analysis and market intelligence to drive innovation and effectiveness. The candidate will aide in providing analytical support around rig, FPSO, and aircraft data, utilizing Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and other tools and will provide analysis, and strategic market insights to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. They will play a key role in defining processes, ensuring team alignment, and optimizing data integrity, when developing and providing sales operations training and optimizing Salesforce data. They will also work closely with Area Managers, Commercial teams, Finance, and the Executive Leadership team across the globe in providing structure to the internal sales process by defining system requirements and ensuring data integrity.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Commercial Team with internal sales operations support around Salesforce data management, reports, market data, aircraft modeling, and industry analysis.
  • Work closely with other departments to support the development of Board material.
  • Ensure the internal Sales approval process is being followed with Salesforce department approvals, leadership review, and auditable collective document review.
  • Provide as needed training for systems and processes.
  • Generate and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and Power BI visualizations. 
  • Champion Salesforce CRM platform, ensure information is updated timely and accurately, and produce reports as necessary.
  • Conduct strategic analysis to identify emerging market trends, customer strategy, competitor analysis, innovation developments, and other key insights by staying informed of current business and economic developments and other relevant information.
  • Gather and analyze raw data and create innovative analytic datasets to support business needs, leveraging industry knowledge and software tools.
  • Track and report market leading indicators, tender activities, and customer requirements
  • Track and report market analysis including rig and FPSO activity.
  • Work with the Commercial team to track and maintain market share analysis.
  • Develop key competitor analysis around global fleet identifying active, idle, and under maintenance capacity.
  • Other projects as required and directed by management to support business needs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Sales Operations, Business Analytics, or related field experience

Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau
  • Detail conscious
  • Able to work in a corporate environment with Commercial teams, Business Development, Planning, Operations, and/ or FP&A
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels

Experience:

  • Experience with Salesforce or other Sales management software would be useful
  • Familiar with the use of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Tableau
  • Be willing to undertake travel as required
