About the Role

Support the Customer Experience team by managing Voice of Customer (VoC) programs and conducting customer experience (CX) research that drives business decisions across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Sales. Gain hands-on experience in customer insights, survey design, data analysis, market research, and customer feedback, transforming data into actionable recommendations that enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Applied Research Projects

  • Drive mixed-methods research (surveys, interviews, and data analysis) to help improve customer experience initiatives and strengthen product retention and brand affinity.

  • Contribute to exploratory studies run with our customer research community on various topics (e.g., new product development, experience, brand-perception, etc.)

Voice of Customer Program Support

  • Support the design and development of new and existing reporting dashboards that translate survey results into clear, actionable views for stakeholders across different business functions (e.g., product, operations, sales, general management).

  • Audit existing survey instruments — reviewing structure, question design, and past performance — and recommend which surveys should be revised and relaunched.

CX Culture

  • Help drive a culture of customer experience excellence company-wide by leading the content creation behind a recurring employee recognition program.

  • Champion continuous learning by surfacing emerging trends and best practices in CX and research, sharing insights the team can put into action.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Market Research, Business, Statistics, Psychology, Data Analytics, Communications, or related fields.

  • Strong written communication skills — this role involves both research documentation and writing internal content.

  • Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Working knowledge of survey design principles.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program that requires a co-op credit.

Nice to Have

  • Experience conducting qualitative interviews.

  • Exposure to statistical concepts (correlation, segmentation analysis, etc.) or willingness to learn.

  • Familiarity with Voice of Customer or survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Medallia, or similar).

  • Interest or coursework in consumer behavior, loyalty, or brand perception.

  • Basic copywriting or content creation experience.

*This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity to receive a stipend upon successful completion of the internship and is currently vacant.
