The Role:
Apryse is seeking a Customer Billing Specialist for our global operations. This is a hands-on role, with the opportunity to grow into other roles over time. This role is well suited for someone who loves engaging with customers and is ready to prove they can lead the customer invoicing process.
Location
This role will be remote-first (work from home), but the candidate must be based in EST time zone.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our Finance and Operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging our newly implemented ERP (NetSuite) to perform customer invoicing and communication of invoices to customers.
  • Identify errors in supporting invoice documentation prior to invoice cycle and work to resolve errors with internal and external parties.
  • Customer billing portal administration.
  • Identifying and leading the business changes needed to streamline invoicing and minimize the occurrence of overdue accounts.
  • Working with other team members to ensure the delivery of great customer service throughout the lifecycle of quoting, contracting, invoicing and payment.
  • Acting as one of the primary contacts for customer inquiries, including order/payment status, account issues, license configuration, etc.
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and internal team members to ensure billing inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist Collection Specialist as needed
  • Learning the Apryse business, including product capabilities and competitive advantages.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Candidate must sit in the Eastern time zone
  • Experience using an ERP for invoicing and managing accounts receivable, NetSuite, Salesforce, and Tesorio a plus.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and results driven mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sense of fun.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $55,000-$75,000 CAD in on target earnings.
