ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Creative Resource Manager, you'll play a critical role partnering with our Director of Creative Resourcing in navigating the inner workings of our Creative and Design department. You’ll have a deep understanding of the team’s structure, individual roles, and each person’s strengths, working styles, and growth opportunities. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to identify the right talent for the right task - ensuring optimal alignment across projects and teams. 

Supporting a dynamic department of 60+ creatives, your organizational skills will be key to successful resourcing. You’re passionate about creative work and well-versed in the full agency lifecycle - from briefing and planning through to flawless execution. Your impact will be felt across a diverse and talented North American team that redefines the boundaries of modern advertising in today’s fast-paced, hyper-connected world. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and creatives to manage the workflow of all incoming projects for the Creative and Design department. 
  • Oversee each phase of projects, ensuring the right resources are allocated for timely and successful delivery. 
  • Ensure all incoming creative requests are complete with required information, assets, and adhere to established agency processes. 
  • Communicate clear timelines and priority levels to ensure deadlines are met efficiently. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the creative resourcing platform. 
  • Support time tracking and budget management in collaboration with the Creative Resource Director, Executive Creative Directors, Creative Directors, Finance and Client Services teams  
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with peers and partners across the agency. 
  • Foster a creative environment by setting the right conditions for designers and creatives to do their best work. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–10 years of experience in resourcing within the advertising or creative industry. 
  • Proficiency with Float Resource or a similar project management platform is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to clearly convey information across teams. 
  • Genuine passion for creative work and the process behind it. 
  • Highly organized with a systems-oriented mindset. 
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, meet deadlines, and identify critical information and asset needs. 
  • Solid understanding of creative deliverables and production requirements 
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to partner effectively across multiple teams while balancing responsibilities. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. 
  • Excellent time management and active listening skills. 
  • Ability to build rapport and foster productive relationships both internally and externally. 
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities. 
  • Confident with foundational tech platforms including Microsoft 365, and familiar with social and digital media landscapes. 
  • A desire to contribute to an agency that produces award-winning, internationally recognized creative work.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $80,000–$95,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs. This range represents the expected base salary for this role and does not include other elements of SALT's total rewards program.
