We are looking for a Web Design Specialist for the largest automotive marketplace in Canada.  

What you’ll do:  

As part of a team of designers, developers, and creative analysts, you will design, create and maintain artwork for Trader Corporation websites and our Professional Customer websites. You will strategically implement design solutions that support the organization’s goals for improving user experience and results.  

Key areas of responsibility are: 

· Design and enhance elements of client websites, to their specifications and within the parameters of our platform 

· Ensure designs are optimized for our developers and effective on mobile and desktop 

· Create both static and animated banner ads for customers for distribution on Trader’s marketplaces 

· Maintain superior design concepts through current knowledge of web design technologies and trends 

· Adhere to all technical, branding, and web content accessibility guidelines 

· Work closely with developers to ensure your designs are executable, and provide design feedback as part of the QA process 

· Communicate with customers for revisions and approvals 

What you’ll need: 

· Graphic Design diploma or Bachelor’s degree/community college diploma, or equivalent work experience 

· Strong design portfolio 

· Experience with design software: Adobe CS, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, InVision 

· Excellent design skills, including typography, layout, colour, user interface & navigation 

· Able to design for cross-platform compatibility 

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

· At home in a fast paced, agile, commercial online environment 

· Creative vision and attention to detail 

· Collaborative spirit, ability to give and accept feedback in a professional manner 

· Familiarity with CMS such as WordPress a plus
