We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Specialist with 6-8 years of expertise in Salesforce CPQ implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex CPQ configurations, with hands-on experience as either a CPQ consultant or in a client-side role. This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office, located at 351 King Street East, Toronto, ON.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the implementation and configuration of Salesforce CPQ for global commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, IT, and Finance, to streamline and automate quoting processes, improving operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement custom CPQ solutions to meet complex business requirements, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Global Commercial team to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, execute sprints, and communicate new enhancements to stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on pricing, quoting, and discounting best practices, aligned with SaaS industry standards.
  • Configure advanced CPQ workflows, product rules, pricing logic, and quote templates to align with company policies and objectives.
  • Develop custom MDQ (Multi-Dimensional Quoting) coding and flows to support multi-product and multi-currency quoting scenarios.
  • Assist with data migration, integration with licensing systems, and troubleshooting CPQ-related issues.
  • Ensure proper training and ongoing support for end-users, including sales representatives, to maximize CPQ adoption and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce CPQ updates and industry trends, ensuring best practices are followed and the system continuously evolves.

What you will bring:

  • Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience with CPQ solutions, either as a CPQ consultant or in a client-side role, with exposure to large-scale global implementations.
  • Certifications: Salesforce CPQ Admin and Salesforce Admin certifications are mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CPQ, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, with familiarity in integrations, workflows, and reporting within Salesforce.
  • MDQ Expertise: Proven experience with custom MDQ coding, creating and managing flows for multi-product and multi-currency quoting scenarios in Salesforce CPQ.
  • SaaS Expertise: Strong understanding of SaaS quoting processes, including ARR-based quoting and the land-and-expand funnel.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to make strategic recommendations to stakeholders based on Salesforce and CPQ expertise.
  • Mindset: A “get-things-done” approach to problem-solving, the ability to thrive in fast-moving, unstructured environments, and a bias towards action in all situations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and work effectively under tight timelines.
