The Country Sales Manager role is a customer-facing role responsible for building strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term customer success, in addition to providing leadership and direction to a diverse team supporting client delivery and growth.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the North America Sales team, working remotely.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure Team Canada meets or exceeds annual sales and gross profit targets through focused execution and new business development.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop the local sales and support organization with a focus on performance, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Execute a channel partner–led account strategy, driving customer growth through established partners aligned to country and regional priorities.
  • Build and grow strategic customer relationships through product discussions, presentations, and advanced technical support across life sciences, chemistry, and related scientific markets.
  • Own sales funnel accountability, ensuring accurate opportunity management in MSCRM and effective use of commercial DBS tools to track sales performance, key actions, and results; lead country go-to-market execution through strong cross-functional collaboration, OEM relationship management, and CRM discipline.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience within Biopharma, life sciences, or related scientific markets, with strong knowledge of drug development workflows and hands-on HPLC/method development.
  • Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in industry and regulatory trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies and applications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and develop others.
  • Fluency in English, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

The annual salary range is 100,000 - 125,000 CAD. This role is also eligible for Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC). The total target compensation at plan (base + SIC) is $170,000 – $200,000 CAD annually. Actual SIC earnings may exceed or fall below the target based on individual sales performance. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
