This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team:
- Monitor and report on project performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support cost control solutions to help meet project objectives and optimize overall project costs.
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate cost report updates at the end of each reporting period.
- Analyze actual data trends and assist in forecasting.
- Provide regular reports on project cost status and deviations and recommend remedial actions.
- Track and report on purchase order commitments.
- Assist in analyzing budget variances and recommend remedial actions.
- Ensure accurate and current monthly and weekly reporting, explaining and supporting variances.
- Contribute to client reporting.
- Assist in preparing project and business cash flow forecasts.
- Support the Project Control Managers in coordinating the change management process.
- Collaborate with other project controls staff to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.
- Interface with planners on deliverables' progress to update estimates-to-complete.
- Present findings to team members as required.
- Collaborate with the Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) to review and issue client invoices.
- Perform special assignments, ad hoc reports, and other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate:
- University degree (Bachelors) in a relevant field.
- 0-2 years of experience in cost control or a related field.
- Ability to handle multiple requests and tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access database.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
