Solen Software Group is a long-term operator and investment partner for hyper-niche, mission-critical B2B software companies. Our capital is permanent. We acquire businesses with no exit timeline, no resale, and no financial engineering. We partner with founder-built businesses and reinvest in them for the long term.

We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2026 Corporate Development Fellowship.

Fellows on the Corporate Development track support the M&A team across sourcing, founder outreach, and investment evaluation. You will develop a working understanding of how Solen identifies mission-critical software businesses, how we think about long-term investment partnerships, and what underwriting looks like in practice.

The work is real from the start. You will own sourcing workflows, conduct market research, support founder outreach, and contribute to investment evaluation. Not watch it happen from the sidelines.

Both part-time (20 hours per week) and full-time positions (40+ hours per week) are available. Fellows receive structured development, regular check-ins with senior team members, and direct exposure to how a permanent capital acquirer evaluates and partners with software businesses.

We are looking for students who are curious about software markets, comfortable with ambiguity, and want to leave behind a concrete body of work.
