Our challenge

We are looking for Core Java Developer along with banking/ financial background.

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company.
• Collaborate with teams in other departments to identify and prioritise requirements.
• Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.
• Conduct technical analysis to arrive at solutions and create technological artefacts in response to production issues.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of demonstrable experience in Core Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java languages and web development frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Expertise in developing web applications using front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
• Working knowledge of database technologies (MySQL and Oracle).
• Comfortable with multithreaded code understanding, and occasional implementation.
• Good experience with Spring boot and Microservices.
• Capability to work as individual contributor as well as teamwork.

Preferred, but not required:

• Banking/ Financial Domain.
