POSITION OVERVIEW
  

Work collaboratively within a national virtual team environment. Administer a consulting portfolio of assigned projects and support the operational needs of your business partners. Process additional tasks as distributed amongst the team to balance workloads and meet peak demands. Proactively identify risk scenarios within the consulting project portfolio and recommend or initiate actions to stakeholders to ensure a seamless client experience with consulting project delivery. Be flexible to support other team members and adjust to changing priorities and demand requirements.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Support national proposal preparations and consulting projects.

  • Support a dedicated team of Business Advisors with daily operational consulting requirements and the administration of their portfolios, including, but not limited to, amendment execution, client billing, subsidy program support, budget adjustments, consultant invoices, project closing, AR management, securing appropriate approvals and project coordination activities.

  • Ensure compliance to BDC norms by understanding the consulting advisory systems and procedures to guide your stakeholders through their different project management tasks.    

  • Respond to client or network consultant issues of an administrative nature and support Business Advisors to ensure client satisfaction or partner engagement is not adversely impacted.

  • Proactively identify operational issues causing inefficiencies or communication problems. Work towards continuous improvement, suggest better approaches and affect change.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date project information in identified systems as it relates to the Advisory Services, Service Delivery Officer role.

  • Ensure identified service standard objectives are achieved. Keep abreast of changes to processes and procedures for Advisory Services to ensure compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Postsecondary education or relevant experience

  • Minimum of two years pertinent experience in an operational or administrative role

  • Attention to detail

  • Organized and able to adjust priorities as needed

  • Solid interpersonal skills and collaborative

  • Customer service oriented

  • Ability to navigate between procedural requirements and client first thinking

  • Good analytical and basic financial skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Quick to adapt to systems and different platforms

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Bilingualism is required (French and English)
