Job Description
AECOM Canada is seeking a Contract Manager to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing contract administration, including all contractual communications, instructions, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements across the program while ensuring delivery teams fully understand their contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to develop and maintain accurate reports on contract performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
- No less than a A University Degree + 8 years of relevant experience in pre and post contract functions
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in pre- and post-contract functions within large airport projects or similar infrastructure programs.
- Solid understanding of Canadian contract laws.
- Expertise in building construction, quantity surveying, contracts, procurement, and dispute resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and coordinate large groups, including facilitating workshops.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications.
Additional Information
This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
