The Role

As a Contract Financial Analyst Intern, you will operate as a trusted business advisor, providing financial insight that supports decision‑making and influences business strategy. You will gain hands‑on experience across a variety of financial activities while working closely with cross‑functional teams in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

This role is ideal for students who enjoy data analysis, problem‑solving, and teamwork, and who have an interest in the IT and technology services industry.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Preparing and reviewing accounting entries

  • Assisting with performance reporting and financial analysis

  • Tracking and reporting key financial metrics and KPIs

  • Supporting resource allocation and cost management initiatives

  • Conducting portfolio analysis and basic data modeling

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations


Who You Are

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

  • Completed 2–3 years of undergraduate studies by the start of the work term

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Positive attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to learn

  • Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
