The Role
As a Contract Financial Analyst Intern, you will operate as a trusted business advisor, providing financial insight that supports decision‑making and influences business strategy. You will gain hands‑on experience across a variety of financial activities while working closely with cross‑functional teams in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
This role is ideal for students who enjoy data analysis, problem‑solving, and teamwork, and who have an interest in the IT and technology services industry.
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
Preparing and reviewing accounting entries
Assisting with performance reporting and financial analysis
Tracking and reporting key financial metrics and KPIs
Supporting resource allocation and cost management initiatives
Conducting portfolio analysis and basic data modeling
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
Who You Are
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Completed 2–3 years of undergraduate studies by the start of the work term
Experience with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Positive attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
