We are looking for a dedicated writer and editor to create best-in-class custom content for our clients. Our platform enables business owners to scale their personal, authentic communication with clients and others in their network, and we need a highly strategic writer and thinker to support our unique approach.
In this role, you will create and copyedit a wide range of email marketing, social media campaigns, and newsletters on behalf of small to medium-sized businesses across multiple industries (insurance, financial, legal, accounting, real estate, mortgage, non-profit, and healthcare). You will meet 1:1 with clients, take a consultative approach to help identify their needs, and bring their content ideas to life!
Responsibilities:
- Lead 1:1 meetings with small business owners to consult on their marketing strategies and offer guidance based on their business goals and needs
- Conceptualize and create different types of content (emails, social media posts, digital newsletters) based on client requests
- Collaborate with clients to edit and finalize their custom content pieces
- Delegate assignments and requests as needed to network of freelancers
- Review and copyedit content produced by freelancers to ensure quality standards are met before delivering to clients
- Leverage a variety of AI tools to enhance content creation process and maximize efficiency
- Leverage our ClickUp management system to field requests and track each request through its lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Has a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Is an exceptional, strategic writer, editor, and communicator who can tailor messaging, tone, and angle to align with client preferences and obtain great outcomes
- Keeps up with the news and is curious about what’s happening in the world and the impact of current events on the verticals we serve
- Has a collaborative approach to work, an openness to feedback and editing, and a desire to master Levitate’s unique tone and style
- Is a strong project manager with the ability to juggle and prioritize a high volume of assignments
- Experience creating social media graphics strongly preferred
