Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, the Content Creator & Social Media Specialist is responsible for the strategic development, content creation, and comprehensive management of all brand personas across Meta, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok for Centurion Asset Management Inc. and its entities.
With a combination of strategic vision and hands-on creativity, you will evolve Centurion’s social presence by creating engaging, platform-optimized content that sets us apart in the real estate and financial services industry.
The role is focused on the development and execution of multiple campaigns across various brands and business priorities, as well as the ongoing management of our handles. The Content Creator & Social Media Specialist is accountable for developing cohesive content strategies and content calendars, executing multi-platform campaigns with internal and external partners, and providing detailed analytics and reporting to optimize brand awareness, lead generation, and audience engagement objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media Strategy
- Using internal social media management platforms, strategically manage and maintain all social media handles across Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Glassdoor/Indeed (8 standalone social media handles)
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies and content calendars tailored to each brand entity while maintaining cohesive brand voice, and tone across the Centurion portfolio of entities
- Identify emerging social trends and opportunities, and quickly ideate content concepts that align with our brand voice while meaningfully participating in relevant online conversations.
- Support influencer and partnership marketing efforts by identifying potential partners, coordinating outreach and content collaboration, developing shot lists and creative concepts for content shoots, and managing influencer-generated content
- Ensure compliance procedures and regulatory requirements are met regarding social media processes, including privacy regulations, advertising standards, and real estate marketing guidelines.
- Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance optimization
Content Development & Creation
- Conceptualize, pitch, shoot, create and edit best-in-class social content (graphics, videos, photography) that resonates with our audiences and supports business priorities
- Write compelling, on-brand copy that reflects each property’s distinct personality, engages advisors and investors, and supports employer branding initiatives to drive talent attraction and retention
- Craft captivating captions for major campaigns, property acquisitions and launches, seasonal leasing pushes, corporate programming, on-site events and initiatives, and daily moments that bring our brand personas to life and builds trust, loyalty, and interest for platform-specific audiences and formats
- Collaborate with internal and property management teams to source content, and utilize existing brand library of videography/photography, for location-specific content, property showcases, resident spotlights, community events, employer brand initiatives, and corporate updates
- Develop, manage, and execute monthly content calendars, using established content templates, that align with marketing campaigns across employer brand, multi-family, student housing, investment fund, and partnership activations and programming across multiple platforms to support business objectives, including lead generation, brand awareness, and resident retention
Social Media Management & Execution
- Manage day to day social media content calendars that outline publishing schedule, thematic content, and key business objectives using brand content pillars
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor social analytics, platform performance, and lead generation and conversion metrics to identify what’s working and what’s not
- Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports across all brand personas/platforms with insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Track trending topics and platform changes relevant to multi-family, student housing, real estate, and financial services
- Optimize content strategy based on performance data and audience insights
Community & Social Listening Management
- Oversee and conduct community management by collaborating with customer care team to respond to comments and DMs with brand-appropriate voice, engage authentically with followers and relatable brands, actively share content to Stories, and monitor social feedback and queries
- Utilize social media management tools to create alerts, manage brand search streams, and conduct social listening to monitor, identify, and follow escalation process for sensitive issues, complaints, and potential threats and risks to brand reputation
Additional Responsibilities
- Stay current with social media and platform/tool updates, new features, and best practices
- Conduct competitor research on social media activities and industry benchmarks using social media management tools
- Assist with website content updates and SEO/AEO/GEO/SEM initiatives
- Support broader marketing initiatives and campaigns as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
- 3-5 years of social media experience, preferably in real estate, financial services, or property management
- Proven track record of creating engaging content and growing social communities across multiple brand voices simultaneously on Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Professional portfolio to showcase content creation (scripting, shooting, editing) and copywriting skills for social platforms
- Proficiency in social media management and reporting tools (Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, HubSpot) and content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong content creation skills: photography, videography, editing (both professional and iPhone/quick-turn content)
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, scroll-stopping copywriting abilities, and strong attention to detail
- Google Analytics and Social Media Management certificates are considered an asset
