  • Participer à des sessions de formation (en usine) afin d'acquérir des connaissances de pointe dans le domaine des solutions de sécurité mécaniques et électroniques.
  • Maintenir une excellente connaissance du secteur et du territoire en examinant et en comprenant les données du marché relatives aux activités concurrentielles. S'adapter aux changements du marché.
  • Être habile dans l'utilisation des réseaux sociaux afin de rester engagé et à jour sur les activités du secteur.
  • Encourager l'adoption de nos outils destinés à la clientèle pour la collaboration et l'intégration dans leur entreprise.
  • Veiller à ce que les clients et partenaires appropriés soient correctement formés aux solutions produits nouvelles et existantes, y compris les outils numériques Allegion.
  • Se tenir informé de toutes les politiques, directives et procédures d'Allegion et veiller à leur respect ; incarner les valeurs d'Allegion au quotidien.

EXIGENCES DU POSTE:

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans la vente dans le secteur de la sécurité et du matériel informatique.

Sales Consultant – End User

What You Will Do:  

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key influencers at targeted end-user facilities to achieve annual goals, while maintaining relationships with current end users.
  • Maintain and utilize our customer relationship management (CRM) tool to report on sales activities, communicate and collaborate effectively within the team, and manage the sales process.
  • Implement a consultative approach to customer relationships by actively listening to understand their needs and positioning the appropriate Allegion solution portfolio through consultative selling. Successful end-user consultants excel at listening in order to provide the best solutions.
  • Engage in pipeline management, demonstrating the ability to prioritize accounts within market segmentation. Successful end-user consultants have a hunter mentality, constantly identifying new ways to create demand for our solutions.
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of market conditions and be able to adapt to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Participate in training sessions (at the factory) to acquire cutting-edge knowledge in the field of mechanical and electronic security solutions.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the industry and territory by reviewing and understanding market data related to competitive activities. Adapt to market changes.
  • Be skilled in the use of social media to stay engaged and up to date on industry activities.
  • Encourage the adoption of our customer-facing tools for collaboration and integration within their business.
  • Ensure that appropriate customers and partners are properly trained on new and existing product solutions, including Allegion digital tools.
  • Stay informed of and ensure compliance with all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures; embody Allegion values on a daily basis.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with hardware consultants and Allegion's specifications team to drive successful adoption of the electronic solutions portfolio.
  • Play a leading role in supporting colleagues by helping them present electronic and mechanical solutions with value-added messages.
  • Master presentation techniques, including the ability to create and adapt messages for end users using sales tools such as PowerPoint, and to present confidently to small and large audiences.
  • Identify key influencers such as end-user integrators, procurement channels, hardware and electronics consultants, PACS partners, and other relevant stakeholders to foster team collaboration and achieve positive results.
  • Maintain and actively participate in professional organizations such as CANASA and ASIS, and identify other professional organizations that could be beneficial to business development.
  • Responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include additional duties as necessary; the candidate must demonstrate initiative to maximize positive results.

What You Need to Succeed:  

  • More than 5 years of sales experience in the security and computer hardware industry.
  • Knowledge or experience in electronics is highly desirable.
  • Open-mindedness toward development and continuing education.
  • A degree in sales, business, or marketing is an asset.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of mechanical and electronic solutions, including options ranging from mechanical access/exit control to full facility integration.
  • Ability to achieve an intermediate level of understanding of electrified hardware and electronic components.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, and strong presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in influencing others with a penchant for action; customer focus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
