What you'll be doing 

 

Capital Markets Operations supports the delivery of efficient, reliable, and client-focused operational services across CIBC. As Consultant, Business Analytics, you'll support partners who use Broadridge products and services, as well as business-as-usual processes Broadridge delivers with CIBC. You'll provide production support and business solutions for initiatives that rely on these vendor services, including change requests, partner inquiries, and incident management oversight. You'll analyze current processes, identify opportunities to streamline workflows, and recommend enhancements that improve operational effectiveness and support business priorities. You'll also partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to help deliver change, assess current and future state processes, and contribute to the development of practical, scalable solutions across Capital Markets Operations and the broader Operations team.

How you'll succeed 

  • Production Support & Vendor Coordination - Support day-to-day production activities related to Broadridge services by managing partner inquiries, facilitating change requests, and providing oversight for incident management and issue resolution. 

  • Business Analysis - Gather requirements, assess business and technical needs, and help design or enhance processes and systems that improve efficiency, control, and service delivery across Operations. 

  • Process Improvement - Proactively review current workflows, identify opportunities for streamlining and automation, and recommend practical solutions that strengthen operational performance and support continuous improvement. 

  • Stakeholder Partnership - Build strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors, provide guidance on vendor-related change requests and solution options, and help support initiatives such as business cases, requests for information, and requests for quotation. 

  • Change Delivery - Contribute to the implementation of initiatives, policies, procedures, and standards within your area, while supporting change management activities and helping teams transition effectively to new processes or tools. 

  • Reporting & Insights - Develop current and future state assessments, communicate key findings clearly, and use data and analysis to support informed decision-making and operational improvements. 

 

Who you are 

  • You can demonstrate experience in. Business analysis, process improvement, production support, and stakeholder management within a complex operational environment. It's an asset if you have experience supporting vendor-managed services within Capital Markets or Wealth Management Operations. It's an asset if you have experience with Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting, Tableau and Azure DevOps.
