About Stepful 

Stepful partners with healthcare institutions to build talent pipelines and career pathways. We are reimagining allied healthcare training with a digital-first environment for student cohorts that prepare job-ready graduates five times faster, at a fraction of the cost. The Role

As the Compliance Manager, you’ll work with the Public Policy Lead to manage risk, apply for and maintain state licenses, and ensure Stepful’s programs remain compliant in all relevant jurisdictions.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Write and project manage trade / vocational school applications in new states

  • Prepare timely and accurate reports to meet state specific requirements and deadlines

  • Interface with regulatory authorities on Stepful’s behalf 

  • Own compliance and regulatory related special projects

  • Work cross functionally with our learning and operations team to implement new student and instructor facing policies 

This job is for you if: 

  • You have 3+ years of consulting or public policy experience 

  • You are a fast learner and can quickly get up to speed on new topics 

  • You are an adept researcher 

  • You’re a strong communicator and enjoy working cross-functionally (we are a startup after all!)

Bonus points if: 

  • You’ve worked in a highly regulated industry before 

  • You have previous experience working with state education agencies

Compensation Range: $80K - $100K
