About the Opportunity:

The Competitive Intelligence Manager plays a critical role in helping Docebo compete and win in the global learning software market. As part of the Product Marketing Organization team, this position is responsible for driving competitive intelligence efforts across all Docebo's products. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and distributing actionable insights to key internal teams, including Product, Sales, and Marketing, in order to inform strategy, shape positioning, and improve competitive win rates. This role focuses on the learning management, learning experience, skills, and human capital management (HCM) software markets.

Primary responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts to support Sales, Marketing, and Product teams by providing actionable insights on competitors in the LMS, LXP, Skills, and HCM markets.

  • Gather and analyze data on Docebo’s competitors and communicate findings to executives and stakeholders, helping shape product roadmaps and market strategies.

  • Develop and maintain competitive battle cards, market positioning, and sales enablement tools to give internal teams an edge in the marketplace.

  • Conduct win/loss analysis and customer interviews to extract key competitive insights and trends, then present findings to Product and Sales teams.

  • Support major deals with customized competitive reviews or insights

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive intelligence is aligned with overall business strategies and objectives.

  • Monitor industry trends, mergers, and acquisitions, and other external activities that could impact Docebo's market position, synthesizing data into clear reports for leadership.

  • Contribute to the creation of internal reports and updates on the competitive landscape, sharing insights through presentations, meetings, and internal communication platforms.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who excels in gathering and synthesizing competitive information from diverse sources. The role also requires strong communication skills to influence and guide product, sales, and marketing strategies. The ability to think strategically, pay attention to detail, and adapt to a fast-paced, competitive environment will be key to thriving in this role.

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a related field.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, CRM, and business intelligence (BI) tools.

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to consume and interpret large datasets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present to senior leadership.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.

  • Familiarity with the SaaS industry, especially in the learning or HCM space.

  • Proven experience with competitive intelligence in LMS, LXP, Skills, or HCM industries a strong plus.
