What you’ll do
The Compensation team designs and administers Compensation programs, processes and policies.
Lead and support the roll out and execution of various annual compensation programs and processes (i.e. incentive plan payouts, annual salary review, etc.)
Prepare various annual and customized compensation survey submissions; gathering and analyzing relevant results
Provide subject matter expertise to HR managers, line managers, and recruiters on compensation programs
Support the design of new and/or revised compensation programs
Lead the incentive accruals process
Complete job evaluations and make recommendations for job levels
Maintain documentation on the administration and interpretation of compensation programs and processes
Lead market bench marketing exercises including analysis, recommendations, and presenting findings to HR Managers and managers
Identify and implement program and process improvement opportunities
Provide strong technical analysis on all compensation related matters
Lead and support other annual or ad hoc compensation/Total Rewards projects
What you’ve done
3-5 years of Human Resources experience in Compensation or Total Rewards
Specialized knowledge of, and experience in, compensation principles, programs, processes, and best practices
Fluent in all Microsoft Office programs with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
Understanding of, and comfort working with, Human Resources Information Systems - prior experience with Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation is an asset
Prior experience with job evaluation and understanding of job architecture concepts is an asset
Excellent time management and attention to detail skills
Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Able to work with highly confidential information with professionalism and tact

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
