Digital: Community Account Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a Digital Community Account Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and growing client communities across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for daily social media monitoring, engagement, content scheduling, and performance reporting, ensuring that brand voices are maintained and strengthened. This role requires a passion for social media, strong communication skills, and the ability to create compelling digital content.

You will work closely with internal teams to execute community engagement strategies, analyze social trends, and support content creation. Your ability to foster meaningful conversations and proactively engage with audiences will set brands apart and contribute to their digital success.

This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and social media-savvy individual with a customer-focused mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of all designated social media channels daily (includes a once every 24 hrs check on weekends).
  • Reactive & proactive engagement on client social media channels (respond to comments, DMs, tags, messages, etc. as well as start conversations via comments and engagement prompts).
  • Coordinate and build communities across client social media channels that respect brands’ image and set them apart via a defined tone of voice.
  • Communicate to your team weekly an update on client community engagement, current client content performance, and competitor/industry trends. 
  • Posting & scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc.
  • Participate in monthly & quarterly performance reports by providing community. engagement and content performance KPIs to the management team.
  • Support in client content creation across social media calendars, paid social content & misc. Digital assets (graphics, TikTok/ reels, UGC sourcing, etc.).
  • Support in executing 1Milk2Sugars & Doubleshot social media calendars and content creation (graphics, TikTok/ reels, UGC sourcing, etc.). 
  • Participate in content creation shoots via shot list creation, prop/model sourcing & on-site assistance.
  • Ensure all copy across content and communications is perfect and void of any spelling or grammatical errors - this is imperative.
  • Participate in social media strategies through brainstorming, preparing the presentation etc. 
  • Attend weekly team meetings and monthly 1:1 meetings with your Supervisor as well as status meetings with Clients (where note/agenda taking may be required).
  • Stay on top of your deadlines and help your supervisor keep track of the overall priorities and daily to-do’s.

Additional Tasks:

  • Stay up-to-date with current social media platforms and share these updates with your team. 
  • Be responsible for identifying inefficiencies in your day-to-day work, and offering solutions of change, immediately as they occur.
  • Be responsible for your time worked by tracking your hours via TMetric to ensure you know the hours allocated to each one of your Clients and you do not surpass those hours unless otherwise stated by your Supervisor. 
  • Be present for in-person status meetings, conference calls, and for events after hours on an occasional and as-needed basis.
  • Perform misc. research, duties, and projects as required.


Education and Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic team player with a genuine obsession for Social Media and a strong customer service approach.
  • Bachelor's degree or similar in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in graphic design and/or social media content creation 
  • French-English Bilingual is an asset.
  • Strong compatibility to manage multiple client accounts at once and report on them accordingly.
  • Ability to effectively create content for lifestyle, beauty, and consumer brands (past experience in relevant bands preferred).
  • Harbouring a real interest in Social Media platforms, changes, and news, exploring how 1Milk2Sugars can maintain a first-move advantage on the channel and in Digital in general. 
  • Impeccable organization skills and the ability to keep projects moving to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Strong capability to adapt to the ever-changing digital environment.
  • Ability to act as a 1Milk2Sugars ambassador on photo shoots, with external partners and agencies, and on Social Media, respecting our agency policies.
  • Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analyzing stats.
  • Mastery of English, oral and written
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to write persuasive, grammatically correct, and effective copy without oversight.
  • A creative eye with a focus on analytics for performance purposes. 
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the confidence to present ideas and plans to clients and upper-management teams.
