Synopsis of the role

Equifax Canada is looking for a dynamic Communications Manager who will work within the Corporate Communications team to develop content to support our focus on strategic events and communications such as thought leadership, client engagement and executive engagement materials. The Communications Manager may also take on various other corporate communication initiatives focused on brand, internal, and external communications. This role reports into the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, within the Canada Marketing team. 

What you’ll do
  • Drive strategic communication planning for major events and initiatives, focusing on effective stakeholder engagement and brand elevation.

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated thought leadership, client engagement, and executive engagement programs to advance business objectives and elevate the Equifax brand perception with clients and within industry verticals.

  • Plan and develop client engagement events that showcase business strategies and address key market trends. Create session agendas, executive briefs, speaking notes, slide decks and event collateral that focus on engaging our stakeholders and strengthening the Equifax brand.

  • Work with Communications, Events, and Marketing to prepare effective internal and external communications as needed,including strategic internal events such as our annual Sales conference.

  • Ensure a cohesive corporate voice and alignment with organizational strategy in corporate events.

What experience you need 
  • 5-7 years experience in Communications, Events or PR

  • Experience with driving large-scale client communications or events

  • Excellent writing, editing and research skills, with superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and style (Canadian Press)

  • Strong attention to detail and delivering on commitments 

  • Strong people, time and project management skills, and ability to work with competing priorities 

  • Proactive, innovative, creative, positive, articulate and professional 

  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
