About The Role

 

Our Commercial Lines team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Programs Coordinator for a summer contract to support our ACBO insurance program. This role provides hands-on exposure to program-based commercial insurance, working closely with brokers, account managers, and clients within a specialized portfolio.


This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in commercial insurance, risk management, or financial services to gain practical experience in policy administration, client service, and program operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Support the administration of the ACBO commercial insurance program

  • Assist with processing renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy documentation

  • Review applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness

  • Coordinate with account managers and underwriters to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance

  • Respond to routine client and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner

  • Assist with data entry, file organization, and broker management system updates

  • Help prepare renewal summaries and client-facing documentation

  • Support claims reporting intake and ensure proper internal routing

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency

The expected salary range for this position is $18-20/h and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
