What you’ll do
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your passion for providing top-notch customer service will shine as you support our commercial clients while helping strengthen overall retention.
You know that every client interaction is an opportunity to not only better understand their risk exposure, but also recommend solutions that are right for the unique needs of their business. Yes, this means up-selling, but not in a pushy way. More in a “how else can I help you today?” way.
You’ll work with our clients through different channels to answer questions, make policy changes, provide certificates, review renewals, cross-sell, update files, assist with billing changes, more. You’ll be their go-to insurance expert, providing expert insights and professional advice to ensure their business has the protection it needs.
What you’re amazing at
- Building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with teammates from across our brokerage
- Using strong sales instincts and creating client-focused solutions that help businesses navigate the complexities of commercial insurance
- Understanding client risk exposures and recommending products, coverages, and limits that better protect them and their business
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and staying organized while dealing with information/requests coming from different sources
- Applying strong listening and critical thinking skills with an eye for detail
- Staying positive and thriving under pressure
Your qualifications
You’ve worked as a Commercial Account Manager or CSR at an insurance brokerage for five or more years. You also have your RIBO licence and are ideally working towards CAIB, CIP, or other equivalent professional designations.
Salary
We offer a competitive base salary of $65,000–$75,000+, along with performance-based bonuses and commission opportunities.
