Job Description
Join J.P. Morgan's dynamic team as a Vice President in FICC Market Structure & Liquidity Strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive client engagement and content generation focused on market structural developments in APAC. You'll interact with top asset managers, hedge funds and other institutional investors, representing the firm as a thought leader in the industry.
As a Vice President in the FICC Market Structure & Liquidity Strategy team, you will help drive J.P. Morgan's initiatives across the Macro and Spread businesses in APAC. You will develop client relationships, inform stakeholders on emerging market structure themes, and represent the firm at external events. Your role is crucial in identifying formative developments and producing insightful reports and podcasts.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze emerging regulatory and market structure developments.
  • Produce reports and podcasts summarizing regulatory and execution trends.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through regular engagement.
  • Communicate with industry participants to gather intelligence and identify opportunities.
  • Track client activities and work to align client engagement with commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage market structure insights for product enhancements.
  • Ascertain firm positions on regulatory proposals related to FICC market structure.
  • Participate in internal working groups and external trade associations.
  • Travel as required to meet with clients and industry stakeholders.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial markets, specifically in a sales, product, or trading role within the fixed income sector.
  • Strong knowledge of FICC markets and fixed income trading.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify key issues for clients and produce related content.
  • Familiarity with regulations and market access developments in APAC.
  • Understanding of global market dynamics and electronic trading.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with sales and coverage desks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to generate client meetings and new content.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Awareness of emerging and frontier market access developments.
  • Strong research skills for evaluating regulatory filings and policy briefs.
